Pathways to Universities

Pathways allow students to move from one level of study to the next and from one institution to another. It also allows students to gain recognition from previous studies undertaken. Pathways encourage multiple levels of learning across different institutions which then give you the knowledge and practical experience for future career choices.

Institutions within Canberra have several formal arrangements between one another which allow the ease of transition for students who choose to take this learning path.

Foundation Studies
ANU College

ANU College

The ANU College Foundation Studies Program is an excellent pathway into ANU and UC.

The subjects on offer within the Foundation Studies program have been specially designed to provide students with the appropriate academic preparation for their intended degree.

Upon successful completion of the Foundation Studies Program and meeting ANU or UC entry requirements, entry to the student’s chosen undergraduate degree course is guaranteed.

Note: ANU College provides a Foundation Studies Program for students matriculating into University of Canberra, as well as The Australian National University.

Diploma Programs
University of Canberra College

University of Canberra College

University of Canberra College Diplomas consist of three terms of full time study, spread over one calendar year.

On successful completion of the Diploma you will be granted direct entry into the second year of the University of Canberra degree program in the area of your specialisation, so you will complete your diploma plus degree in three years.
